Chuck Club SolutionsAnytime Fitness co-founder and CEO, Chuck Runyon, will be speaking at University of Minnesota Crookston on Tuesday, October 22nd 2013 at noon in Bede Ballroom. This event is free and open to the public. Runyon will be speaking about the four phases of being an entrepreneur, Level 5 Leadership, and ROEI– Return on Emotional Investment.

Anytime Fitness is known as the fastest-growing fitness club franchise in the world. In just 11 years, the Minnesota-based chain has grown to more than 2,000 clubs in all 50 U.S. states and 14 countries and serves more than 1.5 million members.

Beginning with the simplicity of one-word, “convenience,” Runyon was a pioneer in developing the 24/7 express business model, which has contributed to the success and growth of the industry.  Open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, Anytime Fitness prides itself on providing its members with convenient and affordable fitness options in friendly, well-maintained facilities which feature top-quality exercise equipment. State-of-the-art security and surveillance systems ensure member safety even during unstaffed hours at the clubs.

From the initiation of Anytime Fitness, Runyon has been involved in virtually every facet of the business — including strategic planning, operations, training, franchise development, and marketing. Under his leadership, Anytime Fitness has been at the forefront of new industry trends – like integrated billing and security systems, and 24/7 access to clubs – and grown into an international powerhouse.

Runyon will also be available after his presentation to sign his book, Working Out Sucks!. In his book, he deprograms those of us who have long been brainwashed by unhealthy habits, destructive attitudes, and misinformation about health, and offers a no-nonsense way to get back on track. The first 300 people will receive a complimentary copy of Runyon’s book, Working Out Sucks!, which he will be available to sign after the event.
